Request to deactivate a queue.

Request: The customer has requested to deactivate a queue.

Verification/Checklist:

  • We must go ahead and check if the mentioned queue has pending tickets present and move the tickets to a different queue.
  • We must also gather the details of the replacement queue if we have pending tickets in the Queue which has to be deactivated.

Procedure:

  • In order to deactivate a queue, we must go to Ticket Folder and check for the Folder in which the mentioned queue is mapped.





  • We can select the folder in which the mentioned queue is mapped and disable the same as there is no option to delete the queue directly.


Action:

  • Complete the Verification.
  • Follow the mentioned procedure based on the request.
